Job DescriptionDescription:
This position is responsible for coordinating and performing all maintenance activities to ensure the proper functioning of equipment, tools, and machinery. This includes inspecting, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
Primary Role Expectations:
· Inspect and verify the safe operation of plant equipment and tools;
· Track maintenance needs of plant and complete repairs in order of priority;
· Communicate with supervisors and team on any down time needs to complete maintenance on equipment, tools, or machinery;
· Develop preventative maintenance schedule;
· Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with the schedule;
· Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while performing maintenance and repairs, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all lockout-tagout (LOTO) practices;
· Coordinate with supervisors when 3rd party services are needed to complete repairs;
· May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
· Two (2) years-experience performing these or similar tasks; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
· Demonstrate knowledge of plant equipment and preventative maintenance needs.
· Technical skills to complete repairs.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
· Must be able to lift at least 50lbs occasionally
· This position requires walking, standing, climbing, squatting, bending, lifting, and kneeling are all required physical aspects of the job
