Some positions involve supporting special education units including InD units and Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) clusters. Additionally, there is an opportunity to perform student evaluations one day per week at a district office location; this role requires a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and is funded through May 29, 2025.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 grade levels
  • Ability to work independently with minimal onsite SLP support
  • Familiarity with special education settings including InD and DHH clusters
  • Certification/licensure appropriate to conduct formal evaluations (CCC-SLP required for evaluation role)

This position requires on-site work; hybrid or virtual arrangements are not available. The number of school assignments varies according to need, and flexibility regarding full-time or part-time hours is possible.

If you hold an active Florida SLP license and are interested in providing critical speech-language services to students in a supportive school environment, please submit your application to be considered for this contract role.
