Position Summary:

The Electrical & Controls Technician is responsible for installing and troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components on heavy-duty truck chassis. This role demands a strong understanding of control systems, schematics, and hands-on assembly. Key Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic blueprints and schematic drawings.

· Install and troubleshoot electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.

· Fabricate and install 12V electrical systems on custom trucks.

· Follow build requests with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with engineering standards.

· Ensure consistent, quality-driven component installation using established standards.

· Verify work against specifications and document completed work accurately.

· Use and maintain required shop and personal tools; maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Ensure all trucks and customer equipment are kept clean and free of damage during work.

· Work collaboratively with other departments and follow all company safety requirements.

· Demonstrate good time management and punctuality in accordance with company attendance policies.

· Climb ladders, lift materials, and perform physical tasks as required.

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or the engineering department.

Position Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in controls-related work in a manufacturing or truck environment.

· Strong background in electrical systems, including 12V troubleshooting and installation.

· Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

· Experience with shop tools, electrical diagnostic tools, and fabrication equipment.

· Must possess a personal tool set and tool box suitable for the position.

· Bilingual proficiency is preferred.

· Demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude toward solving problems.
