Job Description:

We are seeking a personable and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they depart. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, and your role will be pivotal in providing a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests upon arrival and ensure a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
- Manage phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Handle guest requests, reservations, and service bookings efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate records and perform clerical duties such as handling cash transactions, balancing accounts, and processing payments.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms and facilities are up to standard.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Promote hotel facilities and services, maximizing sales opportunities where possible.
- Assist guests with any special requests or travel arrangements as needed.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.

- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

- Proficiency in using hotel management software and other computer systems.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
