Gang & Associates, LLC, in northern New Jersey and New York City, a niche law firm in the veterans’ benefits field, is adding another full-time Veterans Law Attorney with U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims experience to its nationwide practice!
In this role, you'll be responsible for representing veterans in appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC), managing a full appellate docket, and advocating for those who served our country. Responsibilities:
- Represent veterans and their survivors in appeals before the CAVC
- Draft appellate briefs, motions, and related filings
- Conduct legal research and case evaluations
- Manage deadlines across a litigation docket
- Collaborate with internal legal teams and support staff
- Maintain clear, professional, and compassionate communication with clients
Requirements:
- Licensed attorney in good standing
- Previous experience representing veterans, specifically handling appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims
- 25–50+ CAVC cases litigated
- Demonstrated legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Proven docket and time management abilities
- Excellent client relations and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro
- Strong alignment with our mission of serving veterans and their families
- Willingness to complete written assessments as part of the hiring process
