Job Summary:
Allure Custom Contractors is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Field Crew Member to join our growing team. You will be instrumental in the successful execution of high-quality residential and commercial renovation and construction projects, including kitchen and bath remodels, general construction, and specialized installations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a desire to deliver exceptional craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of construction tasks including demolition, site preparation, framing, drywall installation, painting, and clean-up.
- Assist lead carpenters and project managers with tasks across different trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tile setting).
- Safely load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on all sites.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow blueprints, verbal instructions, and project plans accurately.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a general labor or construction environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols (OSHA certification is a plus).
- Ability to read a tape measure and use basic hand and power tools.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
