Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position supporting PreK through 2nd-grade students at a K-12 school located in Sanford, FL. This role requires an on-site presence and offers the opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment focused on early childhood development and literacy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students aged PreK to 2nd grade.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Comply with all professional licensing requirements and maintain documentation as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to speech and language program development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology.
- Professional licensure required, including a Florida Department of Health license.
- Experience working in school settings preferred; candidates with 010+ years of school-based SLP experience are welcome.
- Ability to deliver therapy services directly on-site.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory.

Duration: Contract assignment for the current school year, ending 5/29/2026
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
