Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school district serving Southeast Florida Coast. This role offers an opportunity to work across multiple school locations, including middle and K-8 schools, as well as a private school evaluation team.

Location:

  • Ft. Pierce, FL (Dan McCarty Middle School: 4 days/week; Forest Grove Middle School: 1 day/week)
  • Port St. Lucie, FL (Oak Hammock K-8: 2 days/week; Private School Evaluation Team: 1 day/week)

Schedule:

  • Full-time and part-time options available
  • Contract duration from January 5, 2026, to June 2, 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to K-12 students within assigned schools
  • Manage caseloads that may vary by assignment; typically working at one campus
  • Conduct evaluations and therapy, particularly at the district evaluation office for private schools
  • Support students in DHH cluster programs and collaborate with other onsite professionals
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license required
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to work independently, particularly in locations where no other SLP is onsite
  • CCC-SLP certification required for evaluation team participation
