Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing/Automation Engineer with a focus on Injection Molding to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automated manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions for injection molding processes.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation systems with existing operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing automation and equipment.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new equipment and automation technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to improve production processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing automation, specifically in injection molding environments.
- Strong knowledge of automation systems and PLC programming.
- Familiarity with robotics programming and machine vision systems.
- Experience with key automation technologies such as Cognex, Yushin, and Siemens.
- Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Autodesk.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
