Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Compounding & Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician to support sterile medication preparation, order fulfillment, and pharmacy operations. This role is ideal for technicians with sterile compounding experience—or those eager to grow in a cleanroom environment under USP <797> standards.

You will work closely with pharmacists and clinical staff to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely preparation of sterile and non-sterile medications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile compounded preparations in accordance with USP <797> guidelines

• Assist with aseptic technique, hood setup, and cleanroom workflow

• Perform order fulfillment, labeling, packaging, and final checks

• Maintain accurate compounding logs, batch records, and documentation

• Support inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and expiration checks

• Perform routine cleanroom cleaning and sanitization

• Follow all pharmacy SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards

• Assist with non-sterile compounding and pharmacy operations as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Pharmacy Technician Registration (state-required)

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain compliance

Preferred (not required):

• Prior sterile compounding or cleanroom experience

• Familiarity with USP <797> (and <800> a plus)

• PTCB Certification

• Experience in fulfillment, infusion, or compounding pharmacy settings

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with PPE

• Manual dexterity for sterile compounding tasks

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
