Position Overview

The Golf Course F&B Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests on the golf course. This role involves taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring an elevated level of guest satisfaction with a focus on efficiency and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to maintaining the resort’s luxury standards. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service. 
  • Present a professional and highly personalized approach, reading your guests and anticipating their food and beverage requests. 
  • Communicate with the intent to connect with guests and associates, displaying a positive attitude and highly effective listening and speaking skills. 
  • Efficient and proactive organization skills. 
  • Prepare menu items, safely and correctly operate all equipment. 
  • Complete all sales transactions in an accurate manner. 
  • Ensure the server station and surrounding areas are clean and tidy. 
  • Comply with proper security, fire regulations, and all health and safety policies. 
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards. 
  • Assist in packing and/or unpacking inventory, arranging, and displaying merchandise. 
  • Assist with the inventory at month end in accordance with inventory procedures. 
  • Willing to work in multiple or various outlets as required. 

Qualifications

  • Previous food and beverage experience is an asset. 
  • Serve Right certification is recommended. 
  • Must be of legal age (18+) to serve alcohol. 

Working Conditions

  • Primarily working outdoors on the golf course, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions, including sun, rain, and heat.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk significant distances across the course, and lift moderate weights (up to 30 lbs) when carrying supplies and equipment.
  • Regular interaction with kitchen staff, fellow attendants, and management, necessitating strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Frequent engagement with golfers and guests, requiring a friendly, professional demeanor to manage inquiries, orders, and feedback.
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and awareness of course hazards.
