A healthcare facility in Davenport, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown nursing to fill a contract position. This role is ideal for an RN who is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in an acute care setting during night shifts.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN), compact license accepted
- Minimum of 1 year PCU or Stepdown nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to provide compassionate and effective care for intermediate-level acuity patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Navy blue scrub color preference
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to PCU patients, closely monitoring their condition and responding quickly to changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient data accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers within the PCU setting
Schedule & Contract Details:
- Night shift hours, providing consistency and work-life balance
- Contract length of approximately 13 weeks
- Guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week
