Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract Options
Pay Range: $40$58+/hour (based on experience and employment path)

Blazer Jobs is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school district in Fort Myers, Florida. This full-time position is open to both local clinicians seeking a long-term school-year placement and travel clinicians looking for flexible, high-compensation contracts.

Position Overview:
In this role, youll support K12 students with a variety of speech, language, communication, and social-pragmatic needs. Youll collaborate with teachers and special education staff to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, provide therapy, and monitor student progress.

Employment Options:
1. Local Path (W-2 through Blazer Jobs):

  • Full school-year placement (AugustMay/June)

  • Weekly pay: $40$50/hour, based on experience and credentials

2. Travel Path (W-2 with Perks or 1099):

  • Flexible short-term contracts (412 weeks or by semester)

  • Weekly gross: $1,900$2,400, including tax-free stipends if eligible

  • Housing stipends, per diem, and travel reimbursement available

  • Licensure and credentialing assistance across states

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K12 students in individual and small-group settings

  • Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and participate in eligibility meetings

  • Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in accordance with Florida state guidelines

  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to enhance student success

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Active Florida SLP License (or eligibility to obtain)

  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred

  • Must pass background and fingerprint checks
