As part of the IT Operations team, this role will be a part of our US-based IT Operations Shared Services team, which supports multiple companies nationwide. This role will focus on the coordination, tracking, and lifecycle management of IT hardware, software, and licenses, while also providing hands-on Service Desk technical support to ensure timely and effective end-user assistance. The IT Asset & Procurement Administrator plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting onboarding and offboarding, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that equipment and licensing needs are met efficiently and consistently.
This is a hybrid operational role that balances process ownership and coordination with direct technical support, contributing to the reliability, security, and day-to-day effectiveness of Odevo’s IT services.
Key Responsibilities
IT Asset Management & Procurement (Primary Focus)
· Coordinate the purchase, tracking, deployment, and recovery of IT hardware, software, and licenses in alignment with Odevo standards.
· Maintain accurate inventory records for laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and other IT assets across multiple US-based companies.
· Update asset management and ticketing systems to reflect assignments, returns, replacements, and lifecycle status.
· Liaise with approved vendors to request quotes, place orders, track deliveries, and manage returns or RMAs.
· Support software license renewals, seat allocation, and compliance tracking in partnership with IT and Finance teams.
· Maintain procurement documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and renewal records.
· Assist with procurement-related audits, reporting, and cost tracking.
· Identify opportunities to improve asset lifecycle processes, inventory accuracy, and procurement efficiency.
Service Desk Technical Support (Secondary Focus)
· Provide first level technical support to Odevo US end-users via the Service Desk, ensuring timely and professional resolution of incidents and service requests.
· Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including device provisioning, access setup, and equipment recovery.
· Troubleshoot issues related to end-user hardware, operating systems, productivity tools, and SaaS applications.
· Document resolutions, procedures, and knowledge articles to support consistent service delivery.
· Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT subject matter experts while maintaining ownership and communication.
· Support Service Desk coverage during peak times, absences, or high-volume periods.

Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· 3-5 years of experience in an IT Service Desk, IT Operations, or technical support role, with prior experience coordinating IT hardware and/or software procurement for internal teams
· CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, ITIL v4, CITAM, CAMP, CSAM, CHAMP, or related technical certifications preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and Microsoft Intune
· Familiarity with IT asset management concepts, including inventory tracking, lifecycle management, and license compliance
· Proficiency in using Service Desk ticketing software and tools
· Able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
· Understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles
· Strong technical and troubleshooting skills specific to IT hardware, software, and cloud platforms
· Awareness of the importance of Security and GDPR requirements
