Job Summary:
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Furniture Mover to support our home staging operations. This hands-on role is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, unloading, and setup of furniture and décor between our warehouse and staging locations. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-minded, and takes pride in handling high-end furnishings with care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
· Safely transport furniture and staging materials between the warehouse and client homes.
· Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring items are secure and damage-free.
· Conduct pre-trip vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure readiness and safety.
· Operate company vehicles in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
· Maintain proper weight distribution and secure items in transit to prevent shifting or damage.
· Track inventory movement and storage locations using company systems.
· Wrap, protect, and store all furnishings and equipment appropriately when not in use.
· Keep trucks, the warehouse, and workspaces clean and organized.
· Follow design plans to assist in staging setups and breakdowns on-site.
· Communicate clearly with team leads and managers about timing, logistics, or issues during transport or installation.
Requirements:
· Prior experience in moving, delivery, warehouse operations, or home staging preferred.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required but a plus).
· Comfortable driving box trucks and navigating residential neighborhoods.
· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
· Available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with flexibility for extended hours as needed.
