Job DescriptionTemporary Claims Processor (1099-K Corrections) – 100% Remote – $19/hour
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Processor to manage customer fund claims from third parties, such as garnishments, levies, subpoenas, and more. This role involves ensuring accuracy and legal compliance, managing account holds, and communicating with various stakeholders in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities:

Review and process claims, including garnishments, levies, liens, and subpoenas

Manage account holds and releases

Assist customers with 1099-K tax form corrections

Communicate clearly with customers, creditors, and legal entities regarding commercial collections

Maintain accurate records and track actions
Requirements:
-
Must be able to start as early as one week after accepting an offer

Strong time management, communication, and organization skills
-
Excellent attention to detail in a high-volume environment

Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Advanced proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets

At least 1 year of experience with lien/levy processing and subpoenas related to commercial collections

Experience supporting collections in a mid-to-large financial services company or POS systems servicing small businesses is helpful

Experience with 1099-K tax form corrections is a plus

Proven success working in a fully remote or hybrid environment

Must be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours
Assignment Details:
Initial contract is for 3 months, with potential for extension for the right candidate. Some overtime may be available.
Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
