A well-established, multi-state engineering consulting firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead transportation infrastructure projects. This role involves managing all aspects of project delivery-ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget compliance-while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities

Manage transportation projects to ensure high-quality deliverables, on time and within budget.

Serve as the primary liaison for clients, agencies, consultants, and stakeholders.

Lead project meetings and coordinate communication across teams.

Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, schedules, and reports.

Oversee scope development, contract documents, and change management.
-
Review and prepare engineering plans, specifications, and estimates.
-
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide design guidance.
-
Perform quality control and supervise work completed by junior staff.

Assist in invoice preparation and project financials.
-
Participate in client engagement, proposal development, and public presentations.

Provide mentorship and professional support to junior engineers.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering (preferred).

Minimum 8 years of highway design experience.

Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

At least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager or Deputy PM (preferred).

Hands-on experience with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects.

Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.

Valid driver's license required.
