Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Lake Wales, FL. This contract position offers a full-time schedule from the start date ASAP through May 2026, working approximately 38.75 hours per week across five days. The caseload will consist of 30 students, allowing you to make a meaningful impact within the school community.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Certifications and skills in pediatric speech therapy, healthcare settings, and clinical fellowship year (CFY) beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement individualized therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and caseload records in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required
