Hinckley Yachts has been building and servicing America’s finest yachts since 1928, a pinnacle brand in the Boat Building and Marine Services industry, is currently seeking a dynamic Marine Electrical Foreman to join our team in Stuart, FL.
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for guiding the execution of complex engineering systems through all stages of development from concept and design through engineering and production, which will allow The Hinckley Company to consistently produce competitive, well-integrated and well-engineered products with a focus on the ultimate customer experience.
As the electrical foreman you will get to contribute to our team with the below:
- You will efficiently lead the Lead/Supervise Team, providing a great opportunity to those who love to lead, mentor and coach their fellow tradesmen.
- You will monitor and maintain daily workloads, assist technicians with troubleshooting various marine electrical issues and electronic equipment.
- You will work hand in hand with a seasoned team of Service Managers on estimating new and upcoming work.
- You are great at prioritizing daily workload and delegating accordingly.
- You possess strong troubleshooting skills.
- You will oversee notes and time keeping of your technicians, ensuring accuracy.
- You will be responsible for monitoring the planned hours for work in progress.
- You have knowledge of various boat electrical systems (AC & DC), knowledge of marine electronics & equipment and digital switching platforms.
- You will manage/monitor shop tools & equipment.
- You will have the opportunity to assist and collaborate with other foremen on various projects as needed.
- You will manage Battery Hazard waste disposal.
- Some offsite travel may be required to tend to vessels offsite.

Requirements:
- 5 years of marine electronic/electrical experience required, experience as a lead tech or in a leadership position preferred.
- ABYC certification a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Outstanding communication and people skills, with strength in people management and leadership.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
