Boxer Computer Consulting is a growing Managed Service Provider located in Boca Raton, FL servicing an established client base from local businesses to others around the country.
We are looking to fill the position for a Technical Support Specialist to work Level 2/3 and above support requests.
This position requires someone who is a self-starter with the ability to apply their technical knowledge in order to troubleshoot, resolve, and recommend IT solutions to best support clients covering various industries. This position offers opportunities to expand your knowledge base and skillset.
Job Purpose:
Provide technical support to clients by researching and answering technical questions, troubleshooting issues, maintaining workstation and LAN performance, while maximizing computer system capabilities by studying customer’s application. Additionally, the position will be responsible for making additional recommendations-based customer’s needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Must be able to critically think beyond break/fix, communicate well, and work in a team-based environment.
- Provide technical support to clients by researching and answering technical questions and troubleshooting issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of Professional IT experience
- Excellent Customer Service
- Problem Solving Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365
- Proficiency with all Windows Operating systems
- Proficiency with Office suites
- General hardware knowledge
- System Administration
- Software Testing
- Proficiency with LAN/WAN - Switches, routers, firewalls (Cisco/Sonicwall/Fortinet experience a plus)
- Help Desk experience preferred
- Must also have reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
