Salary Range: $105.000 - $115,000 per year depending upon experience and education.

Position Summary:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer designs, builds, and operates the Azure-based cloud infrastructure that powers the Bank's environment. This role emphasizes designing scalable and secure Azure networking, managing Windows Server workloads in the cloud, overseeing firewall and SD-WAN configurations, and supporting identity and device governance through Azure AD and Intune. The engineer also contributes to automation initiatives using scripting and infrastructure-as-code to ensure resilient and repeatable deployments.
Position Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and maintain Azure IaaS resources-including virtual machines, Azure Site Recovery, resource groups, storage accounts, and Azure Backup vaults.
- Design and administer Azure networking: VNets, subnets, VWAN hubs, VPN gateways, custom route tables (UDRs), and network security groups.
- Engineer and support enterprise SD‑WAN overlays (Velo) that connect branch sites and cloud regions.
- Manage Windows Server 2019/2022 workloads in Azure: patching, performance tuning, backup verification, and desired‑state configuration.
- Configure, harden, and monitor Azure Firewall, Meraki security appliances, and on‑prem firewalls; maintain rule bases and logging.
- Administer Azure AD (Entra ID) tenant, Conditional Access, identity governance, and Intune device/application compliance policies.
- Monitor network and server health (CPU, memory, IOPS, latency, uptime) and act as the Tier‑3 escalation point for cloud infrastructure incidents.
- Contribute to disaster‑recovery architecture with Azure Site Recovery, cross‑region replication, and run‑book testing.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and change records in Freshservice.
- Perform application support including software upgrades and migrations.
- Collaborate with InfoSec on vulnerability management, logging, and incident response.
- Mentor Helpdesk staff and share best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
- 4+ years hands‑on engineering of Azure public‑cloud infrastructure, with at least 2 years focused on networking and Windows Server in cloud environments.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure technologies, including Azure networking (VNets, VWAN, VPN Gateway, NSG, Azure Firewall), Windows Server in Azure, and identity management using Azure AD (Entra ID) and Intune.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting, with infrastructure-as-code knowledge considered a plus.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN or multi-branch networks and firewall rule management is essential. Azure Administrator certification (AZ-104) preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently or within a team are critical.
