Quality Control Technician

We are seeking a diligent and precise Quality Control Technician to perform essential testing and inspection of materials and finished products. This role is critical for ensuring that all products meet established specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements before being released.

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $17 /HR
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Experience: 1+ years

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection and Testing: Perform routine and non-routine quality control tests, analyses, and inspections on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using standard laboratory or production floor equipment.
  • Documentation: Accurately record all test data, observations, and results in logbooks, laboratory notebooks, and digital systems (e.g., LIMS). Review test results to ensure they meet specification limits.
  • Non-Conformance Handling: Identify, document, and report any material or product that deviates from quality standards or specifications. Assist in investigating out-of-specification (OOS) results.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of QC testing equipment and instrumentation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Procedure Compliance: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines strictly, maintaining a clean and organized work area.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant scientific or technical field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a Quality Control or laboratory setting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
