Job Title: Electronic Test Technician
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9/80 schedule)
Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL
Job Summary:
The Electronic Test Technician is responsible for performing functional and diagnostic testing on printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure quality and compliance with engineering specifications. This role involves troubleshooting, documenting results, and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional and performance tests on PCB assemblies using test equipment and software.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic components and circuits to identify defects or failures.
- Perform visual inspections and verify soldering quality and component placement.
- Document test results, failures, and corrective actions in accordance with company standards.
- Work closely with engineers to analyze test data and recommend improvements.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Follow safety protocols and quality control procedures throughout the testing process.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and product reliability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical certification in electronics; associate degree preferred.
- Experience testing PCB boards and electronic assemblies in a manufacturing or lab environment.
- Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with IPC standards and ESD handling practices is a plus.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
