Radiology Assistant

Job Summary
The Radiology Assistant performs a wide variety of routine duties, including clerical, technical and patient-related functions. The assistant is responsible for assistant members of the patient care team and providing a broad range of health care services,Such as a patient check in, exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams and procedures, also patient transporting equipment. The radiology assistant will be trained to use a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, and software, and also may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging sectio0ns, assist with multiple radiology modalities and or clinical services.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

One-year minimum experience. Organizational and customer service skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Maintains a professional attitude at all times and demonstrates professional hygiene and attire.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• Current (BLS) Basic Life Support
