WE'RE HIRING!

Seeking an Assistant Project Manager with a background in construction management or architecture to support commercial and multifamily construction projects in Miami. This role works closely with the Project Manager to help manage daily job site operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and construction administration to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This position includes a mix of field and office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager with day to day construction administration and site coordination
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and inspectors
  • Supervise job site activities to ensure work aligns with contract documents, schedules, safety standards, and local codes
  • Inspect work in progress and assist with quality control
  • Maintain project documentation including daily reports, schedules, punch lists, inspections, and safety records
  • Assist with RFIs, schedule updates, two week look aheads, change orders, and subcontractor payment reviews
  • Participate in subcontractor coordination meetings and inspections
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site
  • Monitor weather conditions and assist with site protection planning
  • Support site logistics, material deliveries, and general site operations
  • Step in to support full project oversight when the Project Manager is unavailable

Qualifications

  • 2-5 of experience in commercial or multifamily construction or design
  • Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and permit documents
  • Working knowledge of construction standards and local building codes
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem solve
  • Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and email
  • English fluency required, Spanish bilingual skills preferred
