Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Account Manager with real-world experience as a paralegal or claims specialist in construction defect litigation. This role is ideal for someone with a client-first mindset, strong process orientation, comfort with operating and supporting software, confident presentation skills for demos and trainings, and a solid understanding of the litigation lifecycle—particularly in complex, multi-party cases.
You’ll work closely with insurance professionals and attorneys and be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring they derive maximum value from our products and services, and driving client satisfaction and retention. MDI’s Legal Claims SaaS platform continues to address the nuanced needs of legal and insurance users managing high-stakes, multi-party claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met with proactive and strategic solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations for prospects in coordination with the sales team.
- Analyze existing litigation, claims, and disbursement workflows.
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of features, processes, and data flows.
- Support the development of product documentation, training content, and user guides.
- Validate that software behavior aligns with legal and financial expectations, especially around claim lifecycle events and fund distribution.
Qualifications
Required:
· Excellent client-facing communication skills: verbal, written, and presentational.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to write clearly and communicate effectively with legal teams and insurance professionals.
- Interest in legal claims and technology and a desire to shape software tools that improve legal administration.
- Flexibility to support clients on the West Coast.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or claims analyst in construction defect litigation.
- Familiarity with the full claims lifecycle, including investigation, litigation, cost recovery, and settlement.
- Exposure to legal case management or claims administration systems.
- Experience supporting or interacting with TPAs or insurance carriers.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or workflow diagramming platforms.
· Previous experience supporting software demos or solution walkthroughs.
