This MRI technologist opportunity in Port Saint Lucie, FL offers the chance to work with advanced imaging technology in a focused, patient-centered environment. Operating a GE Discovery 450 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner, you will perform detailed MRI scans that provide critical diagnostic information without the use of X-rays. This contract role requires strong independence, critical thinking, and flexibility to work 12-hour shifts on nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans according to protocols, producing high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment (GE Discovery 450, 1.5T) safely and effectively
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Document imaging results accurately in the Meditech EMR system
- Work independently with strong adaptability in a fast-paced, 24-hour MRI unit
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
- Experience with MRI imaging procedurestravel RNs or local technologists encouraged to apply
- Preferred: ACLS certification (not required)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night and weekend shifts without on-call responsibilities
- Adherence to dress code (all black scrubs) and professional standards
