Agape Treatment Center, a South Florida Top Workplace three years running, is currently seeking an Admissions Coordinator for our Oakland Park, FL location!
The Admissions Coordinator aids in individual admission and referrals
Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Wed & Sat-Sun
Specific Areas of Responsibility:
- Answer and convert admissions calls.
- Evaluates individuals prior to admission to treatment and as appropriate makes outside referrals for those who are not.
- Coordinates admission with Director of Admissions, CEO, Clinical Director, and
Medical Staff. - Identify and develop referral services.
- Participates in establishing and maintaining liaison with courts, probation departments, attorney, and business/industry.
- Performs other tasks as directed.
- Verification of insurance benefits.
- Performs intakes with new admissions.
- Performs Pre-Admission assessment
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in substance abuse
preferred.
