We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans in a variety of settings. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and a commitment to patient-centered care. NP needed for full time/ Part time /PRN to conduct Primary Care Physicals, DOT Physicals, Workers Comp Evaluations, work related injuries Auto Accident Cases, USCG Physicals. This position is full time hourly. Outpatient clinic, mostly occupational health care.

Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM. NO weekends. Major Holidays closed. No on call.

Must be DOT certified for CDL physicals (Medical examiner) Or Take exam and become certified within 45 days of hire.

2 weeks paid time off.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Jacksonville, FL for a Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary and occupational health care, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating common ailments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. The role also includes educating and counseling patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate patient records.


Qualifications

  • Experience in primary care, occupational health, diagnosis and treatment of common ailments
  • Skills in conducting physical examinations and developing treatment plans
  • Proficiency in patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accurate patient record-keeping skills
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner and relevant state licensure
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Experience in occupational health care is a plus
