Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services in a middle school setting in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role focuses on supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade and requires dedication to improving communication skills within an educational environment during the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license is required
- Experience working with K-12 age groups in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
