Job Description

As a Security Officer - Bank Lobby Desk in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming employees and visitors, managing access procedures, and monitoring activity through cameras and desk-based systems. You will document incidents, communicate clearly with teams and on-site partners, and help to support a professional environment through strong customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the location by greeting entrants, confirming authorization, issuing temporary credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate contacts and/or meeting areas.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas for suspicious activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or disruptions.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, radios, and access control equipment, and escalate concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate front desk logs and incident documentation, including visitor records, deliveries, key control, and other required reports.
  • Support financial institution protocols by handling sensitive information discreetly and following procedures for restricted areas and controlled materials.
  • Assist with package and delivery screening and routing, following site procedures for prohibited items and documenting exceptions.
  • Communicate clearly with client representatives, Allied Universal leadership, and other on-site personnel to coordinate responses and maintain continuity of operations.
  • Participate in briefings, training, and policy updates as required, and report maintenance issues and other observed hazards through the appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
