Aviation Technician Apprentice

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (In-Shop)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Technician Apprentice to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the testing, repair, and overhaul of aircraft fuel accessories. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills under the guidance of experienced professionals in an FAA-certified aviation repair station.
Key Responsibilities:
· Clean, inspect, test, disassemble, and reassemble fuel accessories and components.
· Assist in quoting repair work based on inspection findings.
· Learn to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and torque wrenches.
· Follow detailed technical instructions from FAA, OEM, and company-approved maintenance documents.
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety and quality procedures.
· Support final testing to ensure all components meet performance standards.
Qualifications:
· Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
· Basic experience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments is a plus.
· Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions.
· Aviation education or training is preferred but not required.
· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a hands-on environment.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
