Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects within the hospitality sector, specifically focusing on restaurants, country clubs, hotels, and resorts. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also managing teams and resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design specifications are met.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control assessments throughout the construction process.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
- Experience in the hospitality sector, specifically with restaurants, country clubs, hotels, or resorts is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
