Job DescriptionSalary:

PB Schools is seeking qualified and passionate Assistant Preschool Teachers to join our team in Palm Beach County. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to working with young children, supporting their growth, and fostering a loving, respectful, and engaging learning environment for children from birth through Pre-K.

As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you will work alongside Lead Teachers to provide hands-on education that promotes emotional, social, and cognitive development in young learners. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children while being part of a dynamic and supportive team.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing lesson plans that are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and fun for children ages birth to Pre-K.
  • Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • Help supervise and ensure the safety of children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and other school events.
  • Provide individual and group support to children as needed, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe classroom setting.
  • Communicate with Lead Teachers and parents about children's progress and needs.
  • Assist in preparing materials and classroom resources to enhance learning.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is a plus.
  • State of Florida Introductory 45-hour course.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children (birth Pre-K) in a classroom or preschool setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • A passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, respectful, and caring attitude towards children.
  • Must meet state-required background checks and health screenings.
