Your Role

As our Phlebotomy Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a dedicated team of phlebotomists. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring quality specimen collection and exceptional patient service across multiple sites.
  • Supervising staff performance and conducting training sessions.
  • Managing schedules and promoting effective communication within the team.
  • Performing hands-on phlebotomy duties and managing site inspections and inventory.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with rotating Saturdays.

Location

Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Plantation, FL.

What We’re Looking For

To ensure the safety of our patients, this position requires successful completion of medical surveillance testing as part of the post-offer onboarding process. LabCorp will consider reasonable accommodations for medical contraindications/disabilities or religious beliefs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist (2 years preferred).
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of phlebotomy duties and techniques.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable).
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
