SUMMARY:The Dental Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dental department by managing employee relations, patient relations, and achieving operational goals. The Dental Office Manager will work closely with the Director of Special Programs as needed to meet program requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree in related field preferred.
- 2-5 Years’ experience in dental practice management
- 1-3 Years’ experience successfully leading / managing a team of people.
- Proficient in the use of the electronic dental records system, i.e. Dentrix.
- Knowledge of billing, insurance plans, and dental terminology.
- Professional, positive attitude, vision and understanding of customer service principles.
- Strong computer skills, great typing skills are a must.
