Location: Port Charlotte, FL (On Site) | Type: Full Time | Compensation: $75,000 - $125,000

We are seeking an experienced automotive Service Advisor to join our Volkswagen dealership in Port Charlotte, FL!
Core Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our dealership.
- Consult with customers to understand their service requirements and concerns, and accurately document their vehicle information and service history.
- Perform vehicle walk-arounds and inspections to identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate services based on manufacturer guidelines and customer preferences.
- Provide clear and detailed explanations of recommended services, including cost estimates and timelines, to help customers make informed decisions.
- Coordinate service appointments and manage the service schedule to ensure timely completion of work and maximize service department efficiency.
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of their vehicle and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Liaise with service technicians and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolution of customer issues.
- Upsell additional services and accessories as appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
Basic Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive service advisory or customer service roles, preferably within a dealership environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance requirements.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications related to service management.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
