Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Middle School Math Teacher to join our team for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have expertise in their subject area, a passion for mentoring middle school students, and a commitment to integrating Christian values into their instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous instruction in middle school mathematics.
- Foster a challenging yet supportive learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth.
- Integrate biblical principles into daily lessons, discussions, and student interactions.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback and academic support.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents to support student success.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to enhance the high school curriculum.
- Participate in school activities, events, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related subject area.
- Valid state teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience teaching middle school students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of subject-specific content, curriculum standards, and best teaching practices.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and leadership skills.
