Northeast Florida Health Services, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in our community health centers.
Please note: This role is primarily focused on Pediatric care, but experience in adult care is also required, as the provider may occasionally care for adult patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pediatric services to patients, inclusive of all functions necessary to provide quality pediatric care.
- Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within pediatric care.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary medical practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
- Perform within their professional boundaries.
- Serve as an educational preceptor for the clinical staff including respond to questions/consultations of the staff, plan and teach in-services, follow medical protocols, handouts and clinical standards, assist in expanding the competencies of the clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Occasional travel between clinic sites may be required.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) program with a pediatric specialty
- Current, unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of Florida
- Eligible for or currently holding national board certification in Pediatric Primary Care or Pediatric Specialty
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred, as applicable
- Maintain active DEA Registration, if applicable
- Meet all requirements for credentialing and privileging
Preferred:
