A well-established civil defense law firm is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Attorney to join its Construction Defect Defense Practice Group. This is a remote position offering leadership opportunities within a collaborative and sophisticated litigation team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in civil defense litigation, with deep experience handling construction defect matters for general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and construction professionals. This role is best suited for an attorney who is ready to take ownership of complex cases and contribute to strategic litigation outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of construction defect defense matters from intake through trial and resolution.
- Represent contractors, subcontractors, developers, and other construction professionals.
- Develop and execute litigation strategy, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Appear in court, conduct depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Maintain strong communication and trusted relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver effective and efficient representation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of civil defense litigation experience with a focus on construction defect defense.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently through trial.
- Strong communication, litigation, and client management skills.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
