The Dog Stop Oviedo is looking for an enthusiastic General Manager with extensive employee management, retail, and customer service and/or hospitality experience. Knowledge of the dog care industry is a plus but not required provided the candidate is capable of quickly learning the ins and outs of our services and our complete product line. We do require a positive attitude, outgoing personality, dedication to providing an unparalleled experience for our clientele, and, of course, a love of dogs.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Dog Care, Safety and Health
Employee Management (hiring, scheduling, guidance, etc.)
Superb Customer Service
Ensuring Consistent Cleanliness of the Facility
Inventory Management (ordering, merchandising, distributor relations)
Budgeting (Supplies, Payroll, Utilities, etc.)
Overseeing Social Media (Client correspondence and content creation)
Creating plans to meet all goals (retail sales, budget, etc.) set by the Owner and following through for favorable results

Qualifications:
3 years experience in retail, customer service and/or hospitality
Pet care industry experience preferred but not required
1 year of employee management experience
3 professional references
Excellent communication skills
Basic computer skills
Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends & holidays
