Job responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects
- Work to establish, adjust and maintain work sequences to meet the schedule for a given project
- Reviewing construction contract documents to ensure constructability and accuracy
- Reviewing baseline construction budgets with man-hours and equipment with the support of field supervision, estimating and executives
- Preparing and negotiating small change order requests
- Preparing and negotiating claims with Prime or Client
- Preparing/reviewing submittals, RFIs, close out documents, if necessary
- Carrying out small estimating activities related to managed projects
- Monitoring and tracking productivity utilizing company tools
- Coordinating specialty crews (ITS, drilled shafts) with the various project managers to maximize productivity
- Participating in internal scheduling meeting
- Conducting material take-offs
- Ordering and releasing materials as necessary
- Assisting field crews and field management to ensure timely completion of work
- Coordinating field personnel allocation and resources for your assigned projects with the support and guidance of the area(s) general superintendent(s)
Applicant knowledge:
- Have experience in highway lighting, traffic signalization, ITS, signing, tolling, and signing DOT projects
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office are essential
