Job responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects

• Work to establish, adjust and maintain work sequences to meet the schedule for a given project
• Reviewing construction contract documents to ensure constructability and accuracy
• Reviewing baseline construction budgets with man-hours and equipment with the support of field supervision, estimating and executives
• Preparing and negotiating small change order requests
• Preparing and negotiating claims with Prime or Client
• Preparing/reviewing submittals, RFIs, close out documents, if necessary
• Carrying out small estimating activities related to managed projects
• Monitoring and tracking productivity utilizing company tools
• Coordinating specialty crews (ITS, drilled shafts) with the various project managers to maximize productivity
• Participating in internal scheduling meeting
• Conducting material take-offs
• Ordering and releasing materials as necessary
• Assisting field crews and field management to ensure timely completion of work
• Coordinating field personnel allocation and resources for your assigned projects with the support and guidance of the area(s) general superintendent(s)

Applicant knowledge:

• Have experience in highway lighting, traffic signalization, ITS, signing, tolling, and signing DOT projects
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office are essential
