Job DescriptionSalary: Commission - 30% (average $1,000 - $1,300 weekly)

Stepps Towing & Heavy Transport is looking to add experienced Light Duty Tow Truck Operators to our team! We value a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.

No Slip Seating Keep Your Assigned Truck!

All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned to a truck.

Essential Functions

• Respond to accidents, breakdowns, and roadside incidents
• Maintain communication with motorists while en route
• Perform basic repairs or tow vehicles to garages
• Safely load vehicles onto the truck
• Remove illegally parked vehicles

Physical Requirements

• Lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, bending, reaching, climbing
• Significant physical strength and stamina

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience required
• Prior towing experience or related field required
• Current DOT Medical Card required
• Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
• Clean driving record required for at least the past 3 years
• MUST be able to pass a background check and drug test

CommissionPay

• 30% Commission - Our drivers average $1,000 - $1,300 weekly OR $200/day guarantee (whichever is greater).
  • This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salary-paid position.
    

Schedule

• Five-day work week (Weekends ARE mandatory)
