Title: Electrical Design Engineer - Revit - Relocation Package Available
Location: Orlando, FL (32801) On-Site
This position is on-site in Orlando, relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
Founded in 1988 we are a 70 employee MEP consulting firm that provides structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing & fire protection engineering services to clients across the east coast. Over the past year we've increased our headcount by 30% as we make an active effort to expand our reach & gain market share in the space. The markets we most commonly target include commercial, higher education, government, hospitality, healthcare & industrial. We're looking for someone with a great personality and Revit experience to join our Orlando team.
What You Will Be Doing For This Job
- Designing and drafting electrical systems for new and renovated building construction on consulting projects.
- Doing Circuit Design for commerical buildings up to Florida Code.
- Utilizing software such as Revit for design and documentation.
- Producing permit and contract documents for electrical systems, including power, lighting and fire alarm systems.
- Coordinating with other engineering disciplines and construction personnel to meet project deadlines.
What You Need For This Job
- B.A. in Electrical Engineering (Willing to Substitute Relevant Experience)
- 3+ Years building electrical systems for Commercial Buildings. (Healthcare, Education, Retail, Commercial, etc)
- 3+ Years using Revit.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment / design and local building codes.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Personality.
