North Trail RV has an immediate opening for an Automotive Technician. The ideal candidate for the Automotive Technician position has excellent mechanical and technical skills. The Automotive Technician is primarily responsible for troubleshooting and conducting mechanical repairs to the vehicle, so it operates efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis & Repair: Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and computer-related issues in vehicles.
  • Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections to check for safety and performance issues, and to ensure vehicles meet state and manufacturer standards.
  • Parts Replacement: Repair or replace parts such as sensors and other components.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately document all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
  • Workplace Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Skills:

  • Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and computer systems.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to spotting even small problems and ensuring thorough repairs.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly and accurately diagnose complex issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with customers and other technicians.
  • Manual Dexterity: The fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination needed to use tools and work on vehicle components.

Experience:

Previous Automotive Technician experience necessary

Experience with diagnostic tools and software.

Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test

Ability to work 8 hours shift Monday-Friday. Reliable attendance is a must!
