Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing comprehensive psychological services within a K-12 setting, this full-time contract role supports students across multiple schools in Southeast Florida. The position involves collaboration with educational teams to enhance student development, emotional well-being, and academic success.
Location: Vero Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Contract (Complete School Year)
Hours: 35 hours/week, full-time
Age Group: PreK through 8th grade
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Provide counseling services tailored to students emotional and behavioral challenges
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and develop intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
- Ensure compliance with district policies and state licensure requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist License required
- Experience working in educational settings with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently across multiple campuses
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
