Genesis Staffing is currently seeking a site manager for a Landfill/Transfer Station in Nokomis, FL.

This is a full-time, direct hire opening with a great company!

Applicants MUST have previous experience working at a Transfer Station or Landfill

Site Supervisor Duties

· Supervise employees on daily tasks and improvements

· Review equipment inspection reports daily

· Become knowledgeable of operation plans, county contract

· Maintain site and employee safety

· Become knowledgeable of recyclable materials and how to process materials

· Deliver monthly/weekly safety meetings

· Maintain good county relations

· Computer skills to Input Daily tonnage, Revenue, and Recycling spreadsheets

· Close communication with the general manager

· Maintain facility infrastructure

· Produce monthly tonnage reports

· Follow company policies and procedures, and be able to adapt to changes

Qualifications

· Experience operating equipment such as a loader, an excavator, and a dump truck

· Proficiency in using a horizontal grinder is a plus

· Must be self-driven and safety-oriented

· Ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, county, and supervisors is essential

· Strong problem-solving skills are required

· Knowledgeable in equipment maintenance

· Supervisory experience is necessary

· Goal-oriented mindset is crucial for this role
