The Role

As our next Azure Solutions Engineer, youll lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure Microsoft 365 and Azure Government Cloud environments for mission-critical clients. Youll be empowered to create sustainable solutions that reduce costs, improve compliance, and keep threats at bay.
What Youll Do
- Design, implement, and manage secure Azure and Microsoft 365 environments aligned with CMMC Levels 1,2 and 3,and NIST 800-171 requirements
- Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through secure cloud deployments, automation, and compliance strategies.
- Manage multiple projects with precision, delivering results that exceed client expectations.
- Document architecture, workflows, and best practices with clarity and purpose.
- Implement automation that reduces manual work, streamlines operations, and adapts to evolving regulatory needs.
- Lead security architecture and threat response leveraging Microsoft Sentinel as a SIEM powerhouse.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously improve our processes, documentation, and project delivery.
Who You Are
- 35+ years of experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud infrastructure security
- Experience working with or supporting a vCISO or compliance consulting team
- Comfortable working directly with clients and technical teams to define scope, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Adept at creating detailed documentation and presenting ideas clearly across various audiences.
- Experienced in automation, cost-optimization, and secure cloud design.
- Strong multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Must be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance (note: dual citizens may need to renounce non-U.S. citizenship).
- Bachelors degree and 3+ years of progressive professional experience in a related field.
- Required Certifications: AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer Associate) and Project+ or equivalent project management experience.
