Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is proud to partner with a respected full-service law firm in Miami seeking a Business Litigation Attorney to join its litigation team. This position reports to a highly regarded partner and offers the opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation matters in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The role is fully remote, though Florida residency and licensure are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all phases of commercial litigation from intake through resolution

• Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop case strategy

• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and opposing counsel

• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on case developments

• Ensure timely and accurate docket management, filings, and deadlines

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active member in good standing with the Florida Bar

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business or commercial litigation

• Strong drafting, research, and courtroom skills

• Ability to manage multiple matters independently

• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

• Tech-savvy and comfortable working remotely in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in state and federal court litigation

• Prior exposure to financial institutions, real estate, or insurance litigation is a plus

• Proficiency in case management tools and e-filing systems
