Guardian Angel Inspections Inc., based in Royal Palm Beach, FL, is hiring immediately for positions in Mid Palm Beach County, Northern Palm Beach County, and Martin County. We provide comprehensive home inspection services across the East Coast of Florida, from Miami-Dade to Brevard County and the greater Orlando area. We are pleased to offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Eligibility requires a minimum of two years experience or the successful completion of at least 500 home inspections.
Job Description: As a Home Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in providing home inspections with the highest level of quality, integrity and dignity, bringing real protection to our clients. Home Inspectors assess both new and previously owned homes to evaluate the condition of their systems and structure. They collaborate closely with potential home buyers to identify potential issues in advance. Inspections cover structural quality, roofing, exterior, garage or carport, foundation, interior, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is adept at customer interaction and report writing, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude. The objective is to deliver comprehensive, easily understandable information to clients about the home's condition. Responsibilities include:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the property's specifications.
- Conduct thorough home inspections as a lead inspector.
- Perform state-licensed mold testing.
- Physically demanding work, requiring inspectors to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Utilize tools and essential equipment for inspections, involving tasks such as transporting 50-pound ladders, ascending roofs, and navigating through attics and crawlspaces.
- Manage all aspects of the inspection process and compile comprehensive reports, complete with detailed photographs documenting the home's condition.
- Verbally present findings to clients and agents during inspections.
- Adhere to a schedule, manage time effectively, and demonstrate punctuality while following instructions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with crucial vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
Qualifications:
- State-licensed in Florida.
- Experience in any of the following fields is required: engineering, architecture, general contracting, insurance adjusting, building inspection, or residential construction.
- Proficient in MS Office, PDF, and other relevant software applications.
- Thorough knowledge of current industry regulations, rules, and standards.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use computers, manage files, and navigate various software applications.
- Member in good standing of a National Home Inspector Organization.
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
